I headed over to Srathytay this afternoon with members of the u3a garden group to visit Mouse Cottage which you can visit through Scotland’s Garden Scheme.

We spent a most enjoyable walking around the cottage garden with its masses of flowers and lots of nooks to sit in. Just lovely. The owner also showed the self-catering apartment you can rent as well her own studio and outdoor sitting room. It is sitituated beside the Golf Course with lovely views of the surrounding hills. The cottage itself (which we didn’t see in) featured on Scotland’s Home of the Year a few years ago.

Back in Pitlochry we retreated to Fern Cottage for a coffee.

A most enjoyable afternoon.
