A cute little bee

Sorry  that I did not look up which bee but it was a couple of quick shots in between cooking and watering a few flowers. I always like the pollen covered bees. The extra was going to be the main but I changed my mind because it is a robber fly the size of a mason bee which I think a honey bee in its clutches. I can't be sure it isn't a drone fly that it caught. I was fascinated and appalled at the same time. 
 The other extra is a blue jay parent and baby whose yellow gape is pretty much gone but he hasn't figured it out yet. Poor parent is getting an earful.
