El Ripera

Spain Day 5, El Ripera Valley 

We headed into the Pyrenees this morning as the skies were blue and tackled the El Ripera walk from Panticosa, it was a cracking walk following the Rio Ripera high into the base of the mountains. The views in all directions were fabulous with the peaks still covered in a smattering of snow. Armed as ever with our iNaturalist apps we found 4 orchids to log and plenty of flora. Needless to say our idea of doing less climbing went out of the window.
