Wales

[Backblip]. We're safely in Wales. We're staying with Jackie and Tim, family friends who's kids my siblings and I grew up with. We've known them for over 25 years. We met them back in Jinja and would see them regularly. They moved to Wales a few years back, so it's the first time I've seen them in about 10 years or so. It was also the first time they've met Little Man. We had a lovely afternoon with Jackie and Tim. Little Man has been busy running around and playing with the toys they've got.

A bit of history and information on where we are staying. The house that we're in for the night overlooks the valley of Glyn Ceiriog and the town of the same name. There is also a nearby slate mine, which is no longer in use. The main house had to be pulled down as it's foundations had shifted and the building was structurally unsafe. So Jackie and Tim live in what used to be the caretaker's cottage. It's a beautiful, old cottage.
