Snail Male

I wonder if snails look at slugs as they go by, and think to themselves 'I'm glad I'm not homeless like that'?

It's my birthday next week so W treated me to lunch at Morston Hall.  A lovely atmosphere and a superb lunch.  We only had one glass of bubbly each as it was lunchtime and we had the car, but that was fine as neither of us like that feeling of being knocked out after having a lunchtime drink.  I don't think we'll be eating anything more today!

I took a couple of photos around the garden at Morston Hall but nothing of great note.  As I was stepping out of the back door at home I spotted this snail rushing by, so I thought he could have his moment of fame on blip.  I say 'he', but is it 'she'?  Or 'they'?  Who knows.
