River of Flowers

Monday: Hypericum

Around 7am when we got up, outside temperature only 8°C, very chilly - it warmed up late morning when the sun was overhead and it was quite pleasant doing some little jobs around the garden.

MrD had gone off on his motorbike to return his book to the library. He then went for a ride to the power station where we both worked.

This afternoon I had an appointment, everyone was very nice and helpful and I felt at ease with everything. Also very impressed by the hospital grounds, no boring grass for them but wildflower meadow everywhere - I really should have taken photos!

We’d been in a queue for about half an hour on our journey in, something happening near Four Crosses roundabout, we got through that then joined the queue from the Irish ferry …

We came home via the Co-op and had coffee and cake at Holland Arms garden centre - MrD was NOT impressed :-((

The Hypericum has been in flower for weeks, the insects love all the flowers and the birds hide in it!

Watched a few more episodes of Series 3 of “Spooks” on iPlayer.
