Green lake

Today was forecast to rain all day but luckily it held off this morning, so I had a dry walk with Xena in the woods. The swans were on the lake again and I liked the green reflections on the water.

I had a few chores to do and then packed a small suitcase as we are going to Norfolk tomorrow for a couple of days. For the last two years it has always been hot and sunny and we have enjoyed sailing (I am only a fair weather sailor) but I doubt we will be doing any sailing this time. In fact two years ago it was so extremely hot with temperatures of 40C that a fire started nearby and some buildings were destroyed. No chance of any heat this visit! The reason we are going is to meet with a builder who is adding a shower to a bathroom - it is a large room and only has a bath, and as everyone prefers to shower it makes sense to add a shower.

The rain started this afternoon and it has been raining all day. I have been editing Tommy's photos from the Namibia trip for him - he does not have Photoshop and does not know how to edit so I do some editing when I get the chance.
