Ducks today

I walked over to the park this morning with my good camera to try and get more photos of the pelicans. No pelicans there today. There were lots of ducks bottom up. It's nice it's just a block away from me.
The town is gearing up for Jubilee Days. The streets are blocked off and a carnival is set up. There are rodeos and vendors and music. Tomorrow is the parade and then I'm going to sit in with an old friend for a set. We'll be playing on a trailer in front of the Buckhorn Bar. It's quite the festivity. There are also bed races (One person has to lie on the bed and two people push it down the block and cross a line, run to the other side and push it back) There can be some spectacular wipe outs as people run depending on how much alcohol has been consumed. Tomorrow night some high school friends will get together for a potluck. It's going to be a busy, fun day.
