A Sheep In Wolfie's Clothing

The official launch of the Shaun The Sheep Art Trail in Maidstone took place at the start of this week so of course I had to capture at least one of these baa-rilliant individually designed sculptures for blip!
A total of 52 large Shaun's and 57 little Shaun's are being displayed in key locations around the town with the project involving local community groups, care homes and schools in partnership with the Heart of Kent Hospice which aside from raising much needed funds for the charity is intended to be a celebration of the town and to bring some curiosity and joy to both the local population and visitors to the town.
This particular example, located outside Maidsone Library, is named Wolfie and is by the award-winning and highly experienced illustrator and graphic designer Emma Graham. She has designed and illustrated everything from children's books and book covers to seed packets and greetings cards and even has a silver-gilt medal for a winning display at the Chelsea Flower Show.
