Alternative Life Forms

Today's image is another back garden shot. Our garden parasol had blown over in a summer breeze -  o.k more akin to an autumnal gale with the weather we're currently having - and what light there was was casting these rather dramatic shadows of the undergrowth surrounding our apple tree through the canvas giving it an almost other worldly feel. The extra is another in my bindweed 'series' - I just liked the dark heart at the centre of the image!
Speaking of alternatives today will hopefully see the end of almost a decade and a half of Tory misrule and division and herald the arrival of new government.
