Trophy for achievement in science

This is a trophy my husband collected today. It is to be given as a prize for a year 6 student for Achievement in Science at the prize giving of the junior school where he is chair of governors. He is donating this to the school  as he is retiring from this role next week! It looks OK but is actually rather flimsy but I guess the recipient will be pleased to get the award.

After Pilates and coffee I did a bit more sorting in our garage…all the pots for house plants , a range of baskets and bulb bowls etc plus some Christmas bits! Quite a few things to go to the charity shop.

We collected the grandchildren from school and took them to the public library so that they could register for the holiday reading challenge. They have to read six books, record them and rate them, plus say which was their favourite and why. 

It has started raining so no need for watering the pots or allotment this evenings,
