time on my hands could be time

I have been Uber busy at work today; but it started well albeit late because I had breakfast with Tooli and we had Sausages.and ketchup.

Then the traffic was stopped at a standstill.  8 policemen on a roundabout trying to make the traffic flow round five exits when they have already forced all the traffic down one road.  The round about was backed up so I jumped another exit and made my way to work round the back 

Joy. 

Questions questions questions all day 

Then I just stopped and did some drawing 

My poorly workmate called me for a chat - the one who had emergency surgery.  He's home. One night on hospital.  Safer at home they said

The surgeon told him he had written him off when he pulled out his bowel  and it was black.  He was glancing round  the staff saddened that he hadn't been on time when someone shouted 'look'.  And the colour and blood started to seep back in.

So he is full of the joys of realising that life could have stopped there and then.  And is eager to live it to its full 

I told him to maybe wait til his stitches are out
