Pink Lilies

Two routine doctor’s appointment as for me this morning. Fortunately, I had my repeat prescription and my recent results on my phone as the surgery like many other establishments were affected by systems problems, so the appointments could go ahead.
 
Then I visited my daughter and we went out to lunch.
 
The afternoon was spent helping my husband do some running repairs to the front door, which was not opening and closing correctly.
 
Today’s picture is of the lilies I bought for my daughter when she returned from holiday last weekend. I usually buy cut lilies, but could not get them, so bought these instead. I assume they can be planted in the garden after they finish flowering, otherwise why would they be in a pot?
 
The temperature at noon today the temperature was twenty-seven degrees Celsius.
