Diary of an Edinburgher

By LadyMarchmont

I cut the daisies grass this morning.

Then we had a vet visit. AGAIN. Actually, it was a young man who’d seen Archie before, and suggested a course of steroids, adding that perhaps the last course he was on should have been continued a bit longer, as it was working. OK then…

On the way back I popped in to pick up more peas. My spy alerted me to a new delivery. I could not resist. They’re only here for a limited time, hence the hysteria…

The weather forecast predicted warm sunshine. NOT TRUE. But we sat out in the back garden in hope, putting on jumpers, scarves etc. Hazel was in her shorts, ever optimistic, sporting her tan. Eventually, but only after three hours or so, we gave in and went back inside and warmed up by the gas fire! Summer in Scotland!!
