Monkey flower and a fly

I went for a walk around the village before the rain came. This is one of a clump of monkey flowers by the stream running through the castle field.

I had a letter from the Heart and Lung Dept. at New Cross  Hospital at Wolverhampton where I had my heart valve repaired five years ago.  Following my recent echocardiogram, the valve repair is still fine so I have been discharged.  Great news!
