Tropaeolum speciosum

A lovely warm day, though as ever not all that warm in the office.  A few different colleagues were in today which was nice.  My day was initially very productive, but descended into too much chat later on!
 
I had a really lovely catch up with a former colleague at lunchtime, over her sad salad and my sad sandwich!  The chat was the most important thing.  We used to work together, but have lost touch  over the past few years,  until we bumped into each other a few weeks ago.  I’m already looking forward to our next catch up.
 
As I was heading home, I got a message from BB to say that he was at the beach with friends.  TT was at another work dinner, so yet again, I just had to sort myself out this evening, which was good.  It was such a lovely warm evening I went out for a wee walk, and ended up going much further than I should have, given the time.  However, it was lovely, and I met no one.  The downside was the clouds of flies by the river.  TT and BB both got home soon after me.  I then had to do some prep for work tomorrow – which I could have done without.
 
This is not a great picture, but it’s the best I could do,, to record our Tropaeolum speciosum, which has appeared again this year.  it's a wee bit elusive, as it disappears for a few years, then makes a reappearance. It's growing at the back of TT's vegetable patch, so I couldn't get very close.
