Short walk off a long jetty...
We had to be out of our lodge by 10am, which we were.
Kenny was taking his sister home to Broughty-Ferry, Andrew was off to Helensburgh to return his and the Best Man's kilts to the hire shop, Nikki and Esme were heading home and D and I arranged to meet Ele and Jen back at Duck Bay for a cooked breakfast. Full Scottish for Ele and me, pancakes with bacon and maple syrup for D and the same for Jen only French toast instead of pancakes. Absolutely delish!
Said our goodbyes to them. Ele and Kenny head back to Spain on Tuesday, Jen is heading to Amsterdam with friends before also heading to Spain so we won't see them again till the middle of August as we'll be in Wales when they return.
On the way home D and I had a drive round Buchanan Castle Estate in Drymen. His Uncle Hugh and Aunty Margaret used to live there (sadly they are both gone now) and we have many happy memories of family parties and get-togethers there. We had a lovely journey home reminiscing about them.
Once back we got some unpacking done then I spent some time crocheting. D headed off just before 4pm as Alan had arranged golf for him, D and another friend at the Royal Burgess. I spent a pleasant evening editing my phone pics from the wedding and enjoyed reliving the scenes :-)
