A Beautiful Day

The guy next door has embarked on a large demolition/reconstruction project that probably will last through the fall. We have to plan a few escapes during the day to get away from the constant noise: jackhammers and digging, Walking along the ocean on a bright clear day sure counts as a respite. It smells so good! Most of the time I’m not aware of the scent of the sea, but some days, oh, it’s so delicious!
