A temporary resident

A super day. 

We went to church in Ashbourne with R & S this morning. A very friendly and welcoming congregation.

We then went to the Ark, an animal rescue centre nearby. It was an open day, we visited this time last year and I blipped a a ginger poppet on the 23rd. 

R sponsored a unit in the cattery for the year and wanted to see who was in residence at present. The kitty holding the fort is one of 4 who were born to a stray, rescued from a farm in May. Its name is either Sesame or Pepper, one of two black and white kittens, the other two are pure black. Mum and the other kitties were in the outdoor run area. Such a sweetie!!!! R has renewed the sponsorship for another year.

It was such a temptation to adopt a kitty or two, but Amber would not be happy to cohabit :0((((. We have sponsored a unit for this coming year, just have to decide on the title for it. 

It was well attended and great fun. Coffee and cake  was delicious. By the time we got home I was absolutely exhausted and needed a sleep.
