Emerged …..

As predicted, it’s a very quiet Sunday. I even have the treat of breakfast in bed, thanks to the lovely G! 

In contrast to the mammoth photoshoot of yesterday, it’s just a few garden shots - and an update on the green eryngium from a week or so back. 

It’s not quite what I’d expected. Somehow, I thought it would transform into a fully fledged sea holly ‘blossom’ rather than the delicate version here. Still, it has a certain elegance and I love the colour. I just wish the plant had yielded more than just this single bloom - maybe next year!
