Charlestown in the rain

Like most of the country, we have had a lot of rain today.

Visited a garden centre for coffee then a market, on the way to Charlestown. There we had a quick walk around, before the rain became too heavy to be out in it. We bought a cream tea and huddled under umbrella on a bench. It was nice, but the weather wasn’t and we ended up heading back to the site, via Tesco for some essentials.

I’ve had a bad headache all day, so Jon cooked dinner, we played scrabble and then watched the final of the sewing bee. I won’t mention the winner, but it wasn’t my favourite.

Hoping my head is better by the morning, as I’ve done no reading or writing today.
