Day 29 Rabadeo to Lourenzá

A day distance drifting through eucalyptus forests and Galician hills. The Camino is now much busier with many pilgrims starting in Rabadeo which is about a week of walking to Santiago de Compostela. For the first time there were people in front and behind me for most of the day. We caught up with each other after 20k at a wonderful pilgrim cafe at Vilamartín Grande.

Lourenzá is a quiet town with a magnificent 10th century Benedictine monastery, of which the chapel in the blip was an outpost. The Albergue is right on the Camino and I have a view of a large chicken run, and a shared washing line, no pegs.

29km, 1005m ascent, 15 or so pilgrims and several conversations.
