The Olympics have started!

Such a shame the opening ceremony had so much rain last night. However good that GB seems to be doing quite well today in various events….despite it still raining there! Two medals so far.
The Radio Times from last week has a really good daily guide to all the events which is very useful. This week’s does not have it!


Nice and sunny today so went for a bike ride early along the towpath…so few people about again…and to watch the grandchildren at their cricket lesson in Bushy Park. 

This afternoon after a much needed pedicure  I have done some work in the garden..taking out the damaged hostas from the raised beds and I will just keep them in pots until next year. I went to the garden centre and bought more bright pink New Guinea impatiens as they do well in my garden, in pots, until the frosts . Plants at the garden centre were looking less than good, lots needed water . 

Now to catch up with Olympic highlights and watch more of this evenings. My husband has been watching the test match!
