In the border!

A pink rose has appeared in the middle border, mingling with the lavender and small red shrub rose.
No idea how, unless the red one decided to do something different!
Towels all washed and dried on the line this morning.
We went for a pub lunch and then to a large garden centre to look for a plant to put in the place near where the deceased shrub was taken out yesterday. It’s a type of tall grass which will fill the space and create some interest.
Stephen is at present planting the said item!
We began to watch the Opening ceremony last night for the Olympics but after awhile just turned it off to find something else.
Such a shame Paris had been dogged by sabotage and then pouring rain arriving to douse the poor athletes on the boats.
