Lymington

You can see where I've been today, and very lovely it was.  Peaceful despite the crowds on the Town Quay and wonderfully hot and sunny.  This is the view from there down the last little bit of the river before it flows into the sea.  

In extras are:
1) Nelson Cottage with its model yachts positioned in the downstairs windows - my favourite house in Lymington and very close to the water - though as you can see it could be exciting living there with little traffic in front but various yachts being trailered down the road to and from the marinas.  Someone, anyway, seems to have swiped the render off the wall almost entirely!
2) The Town Quay and part of the slipway - which is I think exclusively used these days by swans and ducks!

What else?  Well, as you've guessed, although I did go for a walk it was a short one.  I took the kind advice of many of you and had a restful time.  Very restorative.
