Blarney Stone

Today was a great day!!! The sun was shining and it was beautiful here in Sydney :-)

My sister Katy and I went into the city to look for wedding shoes as she is getting married in November. We both thought it would take forever to find shoes and honestly we did not even think we would find anything today. On the train we were discussing what kind she was after and her requirements were quite specific.

First shop we went to was David Jones. We had a glance at a place inside where you can design your own shoes, we got talking to the sales girl who was absolutely lovely!! She was very helpful, and the shop had an iPad which you use to design the shoes you want and you get fitted there and get to preview what you're ordering. As a wedding gift I am buying the shoes for Katy, I saw the look in her eyes and told her to treat it as she would her wedding dress... You know it's the one when you see it. We bought the shoes!!! Katy was ecstatic!

Because it was the first shop we went to we then had a whole day to fill in the city. We stopped for a healthy lunch and Sumo Salad, and went for a walk around The Rocks and Circular Quay. I took photos of the harbour bridge and the opera house for a friend.

We went for a look around the Queen Victoria Building and outside there are a few monuments. This chunk of the Blarney Stone is on one of the monuments.

After a productive day I'm knackered! But still so pumped that we got the shoes! I hope everyone has had a fab weekend xx
