Here comes the Sun (doo-bee-doo-doo)

I took morrigan out for a gentle run over the Alderton to check out the sunflower farm, which was having an open weekend. It was the last day to walk freely around the fields, and even though many stems have been sold off (two quid a flower) the fields were full of golden yellow heads. And bees...

Coming back into the village I was just in time to park the bike and grab the camera again, as the local charity tractor run went through the village. Ok, so I can get frustrated at the congestion in the village at the best of times, but I guess I smiled at this - especially at the kid on the blue tractor, who was really focused on getting into the shot!

And, having had motorbikes and tractors... we took the bikes out for a 30km spin in the afternoon. Beer was involved. All in all a wheelie good day. Ahem.
