Day 210/24. Close to home.

It's full dragonfly season now. This female Common Darter was sitting enjoying the sun on one of our plant poles.  As can be guessed from the name, it's one of our commonest dragonflies. Probably only about 3 metres from our back door, so I didn't have to go far.
I seem to have evolved the technique to get close to them. Extra pictures shows full length. Probably around 5cm nose to tail.
