Homing In

Returning from a week away and the mini meadow is shades of purple and pink with the loosestrife being dominant.  I was waiting for my porridge to cook and stepped out on to the patio to see that the meadow was buzzing with bees, so nothing for it but to fetch the camera and record some for my Flickr mini meadow album.

The day has been spent in and out of the garden.  It's much too sunny for housework so I've tidied up the rockery, strimmed the long edges and sorted the pots on the patio.

So my blip has to be one of those buzzy guys heading towards the loosestrife.
