The last bits

The many flowers that we bought, and had had brought, for our "Meet the neighbours" weekend have been gradually coming to an end.

The last vase was on the dining room table, and we noticed this debris below it - I think from one of the gerberas.  W cleared the flower up to the compost pile, and washed the vase.  The cleaner came today, but she clearly didn't dust the table, as when I was looking around for an EB at 11pm, this was still there.  I'll clean it up in the morning.

I did a bit more weeding this morning - mainly pulling up bracken from beside the ditch, along with long grass, to reveal the ferns I planted a couple of months ago.  Note to self - don't let it get so bad in future!
