Eye Up it’s Yorkshire Day.

Yorkshire Day and I wore my rose with pride when we went to Birstall market for fish this morning.
There were lots of Yorkshire flags but because of the rain they all looked very soggy.

The extra is a display in the little park in our village. Put up by these ladies who are part of the village gardeners.
I was given the crochet rose by one of them.

I have just seen a tribute to Yorkshire athletes who have won medals at previous Olympics and Hazel Irvine started reporting with saying
“ Eye Up It’s Yorkshire Day,”
