A weary cat?

We had a busy day with the grandchildren. First took them to their swimming lesson then we spent several hours at the NT Ham House. There was a ‘Summer of Play’ activities for children which fittingly was called the Ham Games. There were lots of different activities in areas for - throwing, gymnastics, ball sorts and racing. All appropriate for a wide range of ages .

Then we had lunch in the cafe after finding a table with shade! Saw the cat in the photo outside the shop!

Back at home we watched some of the Olympics including the rowing which the children are quite interested in. This was followed by a dog walk and some hide and seek on the riverside gardens. Their parents had a nice day out including going up Lift 109 at Battersea Power station.

It has been hot again , about 28C but even more humid. It is now starting to rain and I’m hearing thunder…I’m hoping we get lots of rain to help the garden.
