Here’s looking at you kid

It seemed an interminable drive home to Kent from Edinburgh. Left at 9.45am arrived home at 8.50pm. Partly due having to go back for coats! Partly because we chose the Moffat route, partly owing to a few extensive jams on the A1 and partly a longer than usual break for lunch at Mainsgill.

The ostrich at Mainsgill provided today’s snatched blip. A snoozing sow with a dreamy smile on her face almost pushed the ostrich from the gold medal position.

Thankfully, a safe journey home, not too many idiots about. Hit some strange weather on the Dartford Crossing and into Kent. A deep red sun setting behind us shining on deep purple clouds in from and a long lasting rainbow and heavy rain as pulled up at home. Lightning and thunder too.

Thank you for following my journal while we’ve been away. Your comments have been very much appreciated.
