Raindrops on...

Not roses, a daylily after a brief shower this afternoon.

Although the shower was more of a downpour that lasted about 15 minutes, then it let up for about a half hour, then another downpour.

We were driving between jobs during the first downpour. Actually the guys got caught in a heavy shower earlier. We did one job together, then I took the girls with me to a small job that took us about a half hour to weed and plant 3 perennials. The guys went to start the next job and I met them there. I didn't get caught in the shower, but as I got closer to the jobsite the pavement was wet, so I knew it had rained. They took a short break in their cars during the heaviest rain. During the drive to the next place, the skies opened but by the time we got there the rain had almost stopped. I told them we would make it a fast visit today, the gardens got weeded, but we didn't do the pathways. It was still raining when we left, by the time I got back to Dartmouth about 20 minutes later, the rain had stopped.
So I had another afternoon off. I didn't do much since my paperwork is caught up. I could have worked on the invoices for the week, but they can wait till Sunday.
One more day, then 3 days off for Natal Day weekend.
