Anniversary antics
Landscape watercolour class with Bianca was a real success. My sky needs more practice, but it was enjoyable to mix so many greens.
After, we visited the Braxted tea rooms for a sandwich. I loved seeing a Morgan car in the car park, so parked next to it. Also, I took a look at the station. The owners have lovingly restored some railway carriages and there is a chance to have tea next to them. The platform is my extra.
As 31st is our anniversary, G and I went for a delicious Turkish meal in town. We reflected that it was before lockdown that we previously had a meal there. See blip. They are using the crockery from Pazeratzi, a restaurant that did not survive. A good plan to recycle it. We sat in the front with the windows drawn back - ideal for people watching and cool in the heat. Lots of familiar faces walked past. Then we took a stroll down to the Quay for a drink, watching the sun go down. Perfect.
