Bagging Up Brak

Showers overnight, with a cloudy start to the day.  Soon cleared, and what a beautiful sunny and warm day, even though it was windy.

Up early, puttered about the house, then popped by Madeline's, they've just come home from holidays.  Me and peerie Brian headed to the peat hill, where mam and Laura joined us.  Walkies with Sammy, the head for my evening shift in the shop.  Looks like Scalloway is busy today, the regatta is on and I've missed it. Might get out to the dance tonight.

Many hands make light work as they say, super grateful to have a helping hand in the peat hill today.  We've managed to bag up all the winter fuel, delivered home and to mam's.  On our way back after the first load, I grabbed some burgers from the regatta, and enjoyed a much earned tea break in the hill.  Peerie Brian, mam and Laura with a cuppa at the peat hill, Hill of Fitch, Tingwall.
