Another day in the books

For some reason, Ottawacker Jr. is part of a league with a two-week summer break, so he has no game tonight. This is good. We spent a lot of the day in separate parts of the house: Mrs Ottawacker and I working, Ottawacker Jr. reading. Or doing something quietly. The idea of making him bored so he’ll be able to spark his own innovation isn’t working too well.

In the afternoon, he and I went up to Navan to do a vegetable and meat run: caught one of the guys as he came out of the freezer into the shop. Poor bugger. Sold a couple more of Ottawacker Jr.’s unwanted toys on Marketplace. Made dinner. My goodness, these summer blips make riveting reading.
