A beach day
Laura and family arrived just after 11 this morning and we all went down to the beach for their 12 o’clock surf lesson.
We had been down earlier and taken the cool bags to the beach hut and collected the key, so while G,S and A had their safety briefing and changed into the wet suits, Laura, Callum and I made tea and sat in the sun.
I’ve put in an extra of the three of them on their way to the water.
The two grandchildren managed to get up on the board, but not Andrew, he was however happy just bobbing around.
We spent another hour or so after their lesson catching up with school news and the like, then Grandad took them off to the amusement arcade and for ice creams.
Back home for a sit in the garden before dinner and now they’ve gone to chill at their hotel for the night. We will see them again tomorrow afternoon before they move onto the next leg of their trip.
