Family and Flowers

The family came over just after lunch to sit and chat before their next leg of the trip which is Alton Towers theme park.

They left in good time to get settled into their hotel early enough for a good night to hit the ground running tomorrow.

They had eaten all the biscuits yesterday so came bearing flowers and shortbread. Wonder which will last the longest.

Not had freesia in any house flowers for ages, so was particularly pleased to see these yellow ones when arranging them.

Mono Monday tomorrow will be fun. The theme is ‘communication’. Our electricity is planned to go off for a few hours, which of course means no WiFi or internet, so we’re going to communicate with the outside world in the good old fashion way and go out for lunch :-)
