To the lighthouse

Sunshine as Bailey had his breakfast first thing this morning and there was still sun and blue sky as we headed further west and then south down the Rhins to the Mull of Galloway. The white lighthouse was set off well against a blue sky  and an even bluer sea. Lots of shots taken from all angles and then we headed back down the single track road, stopping off at the Kirkmadrine Stones, ancient stones which have been kept in the location they were found in. A bit further north to Glenwhan Gardens which was a very peaceful spot, full of blue hydrangeas amongst lots of other lovely plants and vistas. One final stop on the way back to Garlieston, Torhouse Stone Circle which we had spotted on our way in the opposite direction. We packed a lot into the day, taking full advantage of the good weather but the lighthouse was my highlight.
