Tamping

I was all fired up to do some important work today, but I have procrastinated too much and now I have to do it all tomorrow morning.

A couple of good meetings, with some good discussions though.

One of my team was doing an audit down Neath and as I needed to speak to him I drove down to have a good discussion with him. I'm considering moving him into a new role, which he wants long-term anyway, for 3 months as a bit of a trial. I'm confident that I've developed him over the past year and this is a good opportunity for him.

A last minute drama with an email. I was tamping, so I have fired off a customer complaint. It is simply unacceptable.

Today I am thankful for:

1.  Good discussion with one of my team on his future
2.  Being able to bounce ideas off my young padawan
