Wednesday

A very full on day. Along to the garage at 9.30am to collect the car. Said goodbye to my mechanic of 24yrs. 
Headed to the garage who wanted to see it. Was told to come back in an hour. Went for a tea and tried (and failed) to read my book. Garage said yes, they will buy my car for spares. 
Then to Stevens to do the monthly paperwork, caught K and the boys coming back from a few nights glamping. 
Home to empty the car and grab something to eat. Back along to the garage to hand over the car and documents  and walked home. 
Goodbye car. 
I am emotionally spent and my head is thumping.
