...about the surfing prospects.  There is a surfing competition in Newquay at the moment, but the waves are looking rather puny :-(

It poured with rain all morning and there were showers on and off all afternoon.  I feel sorry for the kids in their tents at the pop festival but their high spirits don't seem to be dampened when they throng into Newquay for shops, cafes, beach etc.
