Strange conversations at dinner…I made lentil, leek and miso stew tonight and Mum and Dad seemed to enjoy it.

We were up early and had a busy morning in the garden. I emptied out the shed and we threw some stuff out. It’s nice and tidy now. I cut back a rogue forsythia bush, emptied some pots and weeded between the paving stones. The garden is tiny and mostly paved, but still quite enough to manage.

The rest of the day passed quietly, with a walk, down to the shops with Mum and some jigsaw puzzling :-)
