It's a morning out
of sync with my usual

I had to be at an appointment at the hospital for 8:30 so that took over my schedule. I gave myself 45 minutes to get there. I found the nearest lot unavailable, so I drove over to the big parkade. That meant my walk to the appointment would be the longest possible.

As I exited the parkade elevator I was fortunate to find a charming young volunteer who offered to escort me to the right place. We began our tortuous  journey through the maze of our hospital going up and down elevators and zigzagging through endless corridors. This lovely person delivered me to the steps of the building for my appointment, then disappeared back to her station.

For whatever reason my appointment was 15 minutes late starting. I had the attention of two experts for most of an hour. Then they kindly arranged for a porter to wheel me back to the parkade to save these cranky feet more misery. I had the assistance of a handsome young man who delivered me back through the rabbit warren of our hospital. I was so grateful, as were my feet.

As an aside, our national radio announced this morning that 6 million Canadians are without a family physician. (population approx 39 million)
We are at a crisis in healthcare with emergency rooms being used as first line of contact for many patients. (such as me!)

The top photos are the waiting room and the view to outside from the waiting room. I've treated my photos with Fotor's AI Art Effects. This one is called Crayon Shinchan.

I had to make a stop at my office for a few things. Thankfully, I did not need to spend too much time on the phone and zipped back home in less than an hour spent there. Here is my office door and computer work space in Crayon Shinchan.

I'm home for the day. We may see our handyman at some point, but he's missing lunch with us today.
