My morning was lost 
to a schedule and to some
duties to perform

This will qualify as an emergency blip today. My usual jaunt was not possible. Instead, I was locked in to a meeting on the telephone. Then, I had to arrange to have a vehicle towed which had been left in the area where some reconstruction must take place. All these things take more time than one might imagine. So, my morning evaporated! 

I sat in my office chair with my feet up. (They are still cranky from yesterday's marathon walk through the hospital.)  The meeting took more than an hour and tried my patience sorely. 

Workman need to get into a yard to do some work, but a van was left in their way. I can get it moved on Wednesday morning. It will require my attendance with a credit card for payment. That I can manage.

I came home for lunch to find our wonderful handyman there. We appreciate both his work and his company. It may be the only bright spot in this crazy day.
