Rain!

It rained all day today and we got rather wet!

The girls did a mini 4x4 driving thing this morning in the pouring rain.  They were probably a bit old for it really, but they made the most of it. John and I watched from the road, and as we were watching a family passed on a golf buggy and I realised sitting on the back of the buggy was I's good friend from school.  What a coincidence them being at the same holiday place as us!   I messaged her Dad and we met up this evening at the indoor play area with her and her 3 sisters.  The children had great fun playing and it was nice chatting to her Dad and step-mum. 

We had lunch at Camp Smokey which is a BBQ restaurant at the bottom of a steep ravine.  It was very beautiful but soggy.  The girls panned for gold and toasted marshmallows over a fire.  The food was nice enough but too expensive for what it was.
