Sand , Sea & Sky

And strong wind ! The weather has not been great this week but we have had special memorable family days here.
I made some brownies for C and we have shared time cooking and chatting when it has been too wet.
The ferry that the family had booked to go back home on Saturday has broken down so much of the last 24 hours has been focused on finding alternative routes back to the mainland for J's work on Monday.
They have now booked to take the short crossing from Eriskay to Barra tomorrow and get the early ferry to Oban on Saturday. So an overnight in the Castlebay Hotel tomorrow night.
It's all so inconvenient for everyone on these islands and it doesn't look like there are any imminent solutions.
