I don’t think I will renew my contract in around eighteen months when it expires, as I find my office environment difficult and not very enjoyable day-to-day. Therefore attention must be on making the most of living in Tanzania and not allowing work to dominate unduly. This includes instituting my own flexible working policy (we don’t have one unlike most workplaces these days) and hanging around for an extra day in Stone Town to see more of Michelle while she’s visiting Tanzania.

I had a much more relaxing day than the typical, spent plugging away in a few different coffee shops in various alleyways. Followed by dinner and sundowners with Meesh as we expressed our gratitude for being able to travel to such a tranquil spot.
