206th Celebration!

This afternoon the cake and Champagne were finally opened, to celebrate two big birthdays (6th and 8th August) and a wedding anniversary (9th August). C joined Dad and I for our annual joint celebration and, after exchanging gifts (all by chance with a bee theme!), we tucked into the cake and fizz. I’ll leave you to work out the maths!

A grey start but a sunny afternoon of 21 degrees. Tomorrow it hots up for a couple of days.

In between the celebrations it’s been Olympic viewing all day long. Today’s GB medal tally: Silver in Men’s 80+kg Taekwondo and Women’s Artistic Swimming Duet. Bronze in Men’s 10m Platform Diving, and in Athletics Women’s 1500m, Men’s 4x400m Relay and Women’s 4x400m Relay.
